Her interest in people analytics stemmed from her involvement in leading significant programs in enterprise transformation and change. She presently leads the org development and talent functions for one of Canada’s biggest P&C insurers, RSA.
Patrick is a People Analytics Leader who has built and led HR reporting and analytics teams for the last 7 years across banking, telecom, and most recently, the utilities industry. Prior to people analytics, Patrick was in consulting supporting large-scale transformation and integration projects for over 10 years spanning the Philippines, Singapore and Canada. With Hydro One, Patrick is leading HR Reporting and Analytics where he is tasked to elevate stakeholder experience for reporting operations as well as lead the charge in building an analytics capability that will support material business insights.
Rob Catalano is passionate about helping companies succeed – by helping them focus on their employee experience. With his unique experience in HR Technology as a founding employee at Achievers, Rob co-founded WorkTango – a solution that helps give employees a voice and companies actionable insight. He has recently been named as a 2019 Top Global Employee Engagement Influencer, and is the Canadian Chairperson for The Enterprise Engagement Alliance, with a mandate to lead and help educate corporate, government and not-for-profit management on a formal process for implementing engagement across the enterprise community. He is an avid hockey and volleyball player, traveller, used to play guitar in a metal band, and in his own terms a ‘pointaholic’ – he collects loyalty points for everything and anything! Susan Hodkinson is the Chief Operating Officer and Partner, Human Resources (“HR”) Consulting at Crowe Soberman. In her practice, Susan provides advice on all aspects of HR, and demonstrates how strong HR practices can assist small to medium-sized business owners to make smart business decisions. As COO, Susan has management responsibility for the operations of the firm, including finance, IT, HR, facilities and marketing. Susan is a frequent writer, speaker and facilitator on a variety of HR, operational and general business topics, leveraging her extensive background in management and leadership. Susan is very active in community activities, and is particularly committed to groups that focus on creating opportunities for women to work together to achieve greater levels of business and personal success. Susan sits on the Global Board of the International Women’s Forum. Susan is also Chair of the Board of Directors for Nightwood Theatre, the oldest professional women’s theatre company in Canada and is a member of the Women’s Art Council at the McMichael Canadian Art Foundation. Susan also sits on the board of the Women’s Brain Health Initiative, and has also been an honorary chair of the One Walk to Conquer Cancer in Toronto since 2012. Susan graduated from the University of Western Ontario and completed Executive Education at Queen’s University, Chicago Booth University, McGill University and the Anderson School of Business at UCLA.
Dr. Tomeka Hill-Thomas is the lead data scientist and associate director of Advanced HR Analytics for EY. She is most known for her unique ability of using big data to identify and provide insight on current HR trends and identify ways of driving employee engagement to improve business outcomes. She is also a distinguished author with an extensive list of publications and presentations on various employment and employee retirement topics. Dr. Hill-Thomas has a B.S. in Mathematics from Duke University, a M.S. in Statistics from American University and a Ph.D. in Economics from Cornell University. She currently lives in the Chicago area with her husband Desmond and children.
