Glenn is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), a legacy Certified General Accountant (CGA) and is currently a student in the MBA program at the University of Fredericton. He holds his Public Sector Certificate from CPA Canada, and as such is considered an advanced user and preparer of Financial Statements under Public Sector Standards (PSAS).

With more than twenty-five (25) years of Executive Management, Resource Management and Accounting experience in not-for-profit, manufacturing and government services, Glenn brings a diversity of experience to BDO’s Indigenous Executive Management Services Team.

He is an active champion of good governance and of robust and timely financial reporting. Glenn believes that to be an effective provider of financial services and financial information, you must be an effective and engaged storyteller.

Glenn has spent the last eight years of his career working with Indigenous Communities and organizations helping them define and achieve success through developing strong governance models, policies and controls, planning, annual operating and capital budgets and robust financial reporting.

Glenn is currently a sitting Board member on two local Not-for-Profit Boards, one in the Performing Arts and the other a local philanthropic organization. Throughout his career and in previous Board engagements Glenn has supported one other local Performing Arts organization along with the Manitoba Marathon and the Safety Council of Manitoba.

Most recently, Glenn was an instructor in the University of Winnipeg’s Professional Applied and Continuing Education (PACE) program where he taught Financial Fundamentals to Non-Financial Professionals in the winter and spring terms of the 2021/22 academic year.

Glenn is a mentor to Indigenous students in the University of Winnipeg’s PACE program ‘Pathway to the CAFM Pilot Program’ where he works with Indigenous students who are beginning to navigate their path through professional education and professional careers.

His professional affiliations include Rainbow Stage, CPHR Manitoba, United Way Winnipeg, CPA Canada and CPA Manitoba.

Justin Jimmy joined the Deloitte Indigenous Client Services Team in February 2023.  Justin is an Indigenous professional with Deloitte and is passionate about Indigenous economic reconciliation and working toward building bridges with the Indigenous and non-Indigenous community. Before joining Deloitte, Justin’s roles spanned operations management, directorship, controllership, capacity building and technical accounting with First Nation governments and businesses, not-for-profits and with industry.

Justin has extensive experience working with senior level management including First Nations government and administration such as executive directors, CEO/CFO, in house legal counsel, Chief and Council, and external support such as, Indigenous Services Canada, Canada Revenue Agency, investment managers, and professional practitioners from various firms. He has experience with business processes including full cycle accounting, operational and capital budgeting, variance analysis, drafting various stakeholder financial statements, interim and annual audits, policy and internal control development, procurement, commodity marketing, capital market investment analysis and policies, software conversions, business improvements, facilitation, and curriculum development.

Justin is also an experienced director with appointments as Trustee, Director and committee members with various groups. Most recently, involved in sub- committees raising awareness around barriers to Indigenous higher education and professional education in accountancy and finance.

Justin currently serves as a trustee with Wicekaskosiw Sahkahikan Askiwi-Pimiy “WSAP” heritage trust fund, and a director with the Siksika Group of Companies, Metis Settlements Development Corporation, Aboriginal Officers Association of Alberta, and a committee member on the Government of Alberta Strategic Aviation Advisory Council. He also served as the past chair of the Calgary Aboriginal Urban Affairs Committee “CAUAC”. Justin is First Nations from the Onion Lake Cree Nation of the Treaty 6 territory in Saskatchewan.

Justin is also a licensed pilot with training from the First Nation Technical Institute in Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory in Ontario.

Serge has 40 plus years Senior Management experience with First Nations in Financial  Management and Administration, Governance, Economic Development, Policy Development at National level, Expert in Indian Monies, Committee Member to Draft a Federal Legislation for First Nation.

Serge is a corporate accounting professional with extensive experience across a wide range of companies. Highly adept at the implementation and management of accounting systems and procedures, Finance and Accounting across various industries including non-profit, private practice, public sector, government agencies and financial services.

Serge is a qualified Co-Manager for the First Nation Government. He was part of a committee to develop a federal law for First Nations in Canada. Bill C54, oil, gas and monies legislation.

Sue-Lin is a Chartered Professional Accountant with over fifteen years of municipal and First Nation management experience. She began her career in the local government finance sector, progressing to the role of Director of Finance and has since attained the role of Chief Administrative Officer. Sue-Lin understands the importance of aligning strategies with operations, and commitment to minimizing bias in policies, processes, and procedures.

Sue-Lin is a strengths-focused coach and mentor who inspires operational and service excellence. She is an outgoing motivator and strong public speaker who strives for a climate of constant improvement and growth. As a passionate educator and people leader, Sue-Lin has delivered impactful capacity development training and workshops in financial fluency, strategic planning, information privacy, human resource and performance management, change management and policy development and implementation to Councils, senior management and staff of BC and Alberta First Nations. She is currently involved in various volunteer initiatives such as financial fluency facilitator at CPA British Columbia and Junior Achievements of BC.

Noah Wilson is a Cree man with French/Ukrainian heritage on his mother’s side of the family. Noah is a proud community member of Peguis First Nation which is the largest Treaty 1(1871) community located in the province of Manitoba. As a result of living in several cities and communities throughout his youth, Noah was able to see a diverse cross-section of Canadian society that highlighted the stark discrepancies in the standard of living between First Nations peoples and the rest of Canada. These experiences fostered his passion to someday become a trusted adviser for the resurgence of self-determining Indigenous economies, thriving Indigenous communities, and hopeful Indigenous Peoples. Noah graduated from the University of Manitoba with an Advanced Bachelor’s Degree in Indigenous Governance and Business as a 2019 Rhodes Scholar Finalist.

Noah is a devoted advocate for the implementation of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s 94 Calls to Action in Canada and the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP).

Noah is an Indigenous finance professional and currently covers the Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Nunavut regions as the Senior Business Development Manager for the Indigenous Entrepreneur Start-up Program (IESP) at Futurpreneur Canada. Our IESP team is mandated to help Indigenous Young Entrepreneurs develop a viable business plan and financial projections to gain access to capital to launch their Indigenous Start-up or their Indigenous Side hustle along with a mentor for 2 years. Since joining Futurpreneur, Noah has become the Co-Chair for the Truth and Reconciliation Advisory Council for The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce and has made The Peak’s 2023 Emerging Leaders List in Entrepreneurship as well as received an Indigenous Achievement Award from the Indigenous Professionals Association of Canada (IPAC).
