Roger currently works as an People Analyst for the University of Toronto. His main focus is in designing and creating people related reports (both regular frequency and adhoc) using various reporting tools such as Tableau Desktop and Power BI. He also assists in the gathering and submitting of data for the UniForum project, a benchmarking program for reviewing operational/administrative services that support U of T’s teaching and research activities. U of T is participating in this multi-university study along with other universities from Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. As well, he is a part time Professor of HR Analytics at Sheridan College in Mississauga, where he has helped to create a new undergraduate course focusing on developing and presenting HR Metrics using Data Visualization software (Tableau Desktop). He has also been an HR Metrics and Workforce Analyst for ArcelorMittal Dofasco in Hamilton, the City of Burlington and Spin Master Toys in Toronto. He has presented/spoken several times at various HR/People Analytics Conferences.

Buddhi leads the science and innovations behind the Sapia Smart Interviewer, a text chat-based interview scored by AI. Prior to joining Sapia.ai, he spent over two years at Culture Amp as their first Lead Data Scientist developing machine learning models to extract insights from employee feedback. He is a former Senior Research Fellow with research interests in intelligent software agents, natural language processing, people analytics and AI ethics.
